A Day in the Life of an Art Substitute Teacher

Well I started my sub position as an art teacher at the good ol' Laurens District 55 High School today. Here's just a brief rundown of what happened for your viewing pleasure

1. I got whistled at in the hallway by a student
2. I got asked if I dated black boys (not surprised)
3. A student with Asperger's syndrome (which no one told me about) had a minor freakout and started yelling during the middle of class
4. We had a fire drill; of course I didn't know where to take my students
5. Multiple students told me I looked 18
6. I found my sister's picture on the wall with a mustache drawn on it (she had the teacher I was subbing for in high school)
7. A student called me "Miss Hotpants" (no, I was not wearing pants I had on a skirt)

Ohhh the joys of substitute teaching! Can't wait to see everyone this weekend!
