Here is a little taste of the finished version of my classroom! I am constantly adding charts that we make together, so I am quickly running out of wall space! So far, we have had a great year! I have 14 students! They are very sweet, and have already stolen my heart!
Funny story: Yesterday "LaTeesha" (For the sake of keeping my job, all names will be fake), asked me to tie her shoe. So, I squatted down to tie her shoe. She had the perfect view of my head. (Since we were at the lake all last weekend, my scalp got badly burned.) She says, "Miss Wilkins, you have a pink line on your head. Is that how you know where to put your hair?" I almost fell over laughing!
I get all sorts of hilarious comments everyday! It is what makes my job worth 5 am mornings!
